Tutoring
While in college, I co-led an outreach tutoring program that matched willing college students with children in the community in need of academic assistance and mentoring. I knew after the first few sessions working with my 4th grade match that education was my career path.
Through the years, I have continued to enjoy tutoring and mentoring students of varying ages and academic abilities.
As part of my on-going commitment to working with students, I offer local private tutoring for middle and high school students in the following subject areas:
- English (Reading, Writing, ESL)
- History (especially Advanced Placement United States History)
- Study Skills and Organization
As well, I assist students with college and graduate school applications.
